One Hospital Dominates the Local Demand
Sharp Grossmont Hospital is licensed for 562 beds and is East County's largest health care facility, and La Mesa's health care and social assistance sector booked $1.79 billion in receipts in 2022 for a city of 60,000. The practices, suppliers and specialist clinics clustered around it are the single largest block of local IT demand, and HIPAA reaches all of them as business associates rather than as an optional extra.
Ranking Here Does Not Mean Serving Here
Being a small city inside a large metro produces a specific distortion. Dense, Tight and Well Connected
