Leander IT Market Overview
Why No Managed IT Provider Is Based in Leander, and Why That Is Fine
Leander Grew Residential First, So Its IT Supply Sits Next Door
Leander holds 86,168 residents in 29,616 households at a median household income of $141,023, up from 59,202 people at the 2020 census and 26,521 at the 2010 census. It was the fastest-growing city in the United States between 2018 and 2019. That growth arrived as housing rather than as office parks, so the city has almost no multi-tenant commercial stock and no managed IT provider is headquartered inside the city limits. Every one of the 19 firms on this page works from Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, Pflugerville or Austin and drives in. The closest listed office is 3.36 miles away, which is a shorter run than many providers make inside a single large city.
Schools, Healthcare, Construction and Professional Services Set the Demand
Leander Independent School District is the largest employer in the city, running multiple high, middle and elementary schools. The Leander H-E-B Plus, which the city calls the third-largest H-E-B store in Texas, is next, followed by the City of Leander, Dennis Steel, St. David's Healthcare and the Austin Community College San Gabriel campus. Around them sit the dental and medical practices, contractors, engineering practices, title offices and accounting firms that make up a fast-growing suburb's business base. That mix is why nearly every provider here sells compliance work: a school district holds student records under FERPA, a dental practice holds protected health information under HIPAA, and the H-E-B frontage retail takes card payments inside PCI DSS scope.
Four Offices Had to Be Routed, and All Four Came In
Distances on this page are measured from 30.5787755 N, -97.8546515 W, an OpenStreetMap geocode of Leander City Hall at 105 N Brushy Street. The rule is 25 driving miles, absolute, and the band from 16 to 23 straight-line miles has to be routed rather than estimated. Four listed offices fell in that band and all four were measured on OSRM on 2026-10-14: 7tech at 19.21 driving miles, TechProComp at 21.07, CyberStreams at 21.78 and Centre Technologies at 23.30. Each read 2.4 to 3.3 miles longer than its straight line, because US-183 and the MoPac corridor bend around the Balcones escarpment rather than running direct. Two further candidates in the same band, Pretect at 20.79 driving miles and Integrate Cyber at 24.92, were inside the limit and were still rejected, because neither publishes a street address on its own website.
Cedar Park Is the Practical Answer to On-Site Response
Three listed offices sit inside 4.5 miles of Leander City Hall and all three are in Cedar Park. Ardham Technologies works from 921 W New Hope Drive Unit 503 at 3.36 miles, Integris from 1320 Arrow Point Drive Suite 506 at 4.37, and Capstone Works from 715 Discovery Boulevard Suite 511 at 4.47. If your tolerance for a dead server is two hours, those three are a different proposition from an office on Chevy Chase Drive in central Austin, whatever a service-area map says. Georgetown adds Computek at 11.39 miles and CTTS at 10.83, and the Round Rock West Drive cluster adds Heart of Texas IT at 11.01, Loyal IT at 11.10 and CMIT Solutions at 11.43.
Leander Pricing Tracks the Wider Austin Market
Integris, listed on this page, publishes the only Austin-specific guidance available: roughly $50 to $80 per user per month for remote-only support, or about $1,500 to $2,000 a month for 25 users, excluding on-site hourly charges. Wider published guides put fully managed support at $100 to $250 per user per month and a 25-person office on a comprehensive plan at $3,000 to $6,000 a month. Flat-rate pricing is the model most firms here lead with, and three state it plainly without a number: Titanium Computing offers one flat fee per user with unlimited support, CTTS quotes one flat monthly rate, GCS Technologies one predictable monthly fee. The floor under all of it is labour, at a $58.73 mean hourly wage for computer and mathematical occupations in this metro as of May 2025. A quote materially below $100 per user is usually thinner than it looks, because after-hours work, on-site visits, new-user setup, project work and security services get billed separately.
What a Leander Buyer Should Expect in the Contract
A credible managed IT services agreement covers eight things. Providers monitor servers and endpoints around the clock and patch them on a schedule, staff a help desk your employees call directly, run data backup and disaster recovery you have actually tested, protect email and endpoints with managed cybersecurity, migrate and administer Microsoft 365 and other cloud services, manage the network infrastructure and the vendors so you are not chasing your internet provider yourself, supply VoIP phone systems where the old handsets are failing, and give you vCIO time to plan the next two years. Network monitoring and vendor management are the two line items buyers most often forget to ask about. Co-managed IT is the variant worth asking about if you already employ one internal technician, because the provider supports that person rather than replacing them, Capstone Works and Vintage IT Services both name it as a product, and a scalable per-user agreement scales as headcount grows. A fast-growing business that would rather outsource the whole function than hire can do that here too, and a regulated practice that has to comply with HIPAA or PCI DSS should ask who writes the evidence. Sixteen of the 19 firms here sell cloud services and five sell business phone systems, so a responsive single partner for all of it is realistic in this market.
The Address Is the Claim to Check Hardest in Leander
Leander's search results are full of pages promising local IT support from somewhere else, and the vetting for this page turned up the pattern repeatedly. Five firms with real Google records and genuine managed-services pages were rejected for publishing no street address anywhere on their own websites, including the highest-rated locally addressed candidate in the whole sweep, a Leander firm with 58 reviews at 4.9 whose site says only "our office in Leander". Others were rejected for a PMB suffix on a US-183 suite, for residential addresses in Crystal Falls and Travisso, and for a Georgetown house shared by three unrelated firms. Ask for the street address the technician drives from, then check it against the firm's own contact page, because a service-area list naming Leander is not a location. Local expertise here means a staffed office you can name and drive to, and on-site support that arrives from it.

Leander IT Submarkets at a Glance
Leander and Old Town
No managed IT provider on this page holds a Leander address, and that is the honest finding rather than a gap. The sweep returned 30-odd Leander-addressed records and every one failed vetting. The strongest, a 4.9-rated firm with 58 reviews at a South Bagdad Road suite, publishes no street address on its own site and markets proactive maintenance and service calls rather than a managed retainer. Others resolved to houses in Crystal Falls and Travisso, to a PMB suffix on a US-183 suite, to software companies, to a phone repair unit inside the H-E-B Plus, or to spam listings using the H-E-B street address.
Cedar Park
The nearest real provider ground, 3.36 to 4.47 miles south. Ardham Technologies works from 921 W New Hope Drive Unit 503 with a second office in Albuquerque, Integris from 1320 Arrow Point Drive Suite 506, and Capstone Works from 715 Discovery Boulevard Suite 511. Three offices inside 4.5 miles is the practical answer to on-site response for a Leander business. Wolff Logics on Hur Industrial Boulevard did not qualify, because its own site publishes no street address.
Round Rock West Drive and the I-35 corridor
A tight cluster 11.0 to 11.5 miles east. Heart of Texas IT works from 555 Round Rock West Drive Suite 227 and names dental, eye care and veterinary practices first among its sectors, Loyal IT from 595 Round Rock West Drive Suite 204-205, and CMIT Solutions of Round Rock from 551 South I-35 Suite 364. Peerless Technology Services and CSM Systems, both listed on the Round Rock page, did not qualify here: the first publishes no street address on its own site and the second returned HTTP 403.
Georgetown and Williams Drive
Two long-established providers 10.8 to 11.4 miles north-east. CTTS works from 557 South Interstate 35 Suite 201 and has traded since 2002, with a help desk it says answers in three rings or less. Computek works from 1614 Williams Drive Suite 105, has offered full-service IT management to local businesses since 2001, and targets firms of 10 to 75 employees. Three further Georgetown candidates failed vetting, one of them a house on Quail Valley Drive shared by three unrelated companies.
North-west Austin and the Research Boulevard corridor
The deepest concentration of supply inside 16 miles, 8.78 to 15.41 miles south. Vintage IT Services works from 13785 Research Boulevard Suite 125 and holds Texas DIR contracts, GCS Technologies and Server At Work both from 12710 Research Boulevard, Contigo Technology from 8920 Business Park Drive Suite 250, Titanium Computing from 2013 Wells Branch Parkway Suite 310 and Gravity Systems from 8127 Mesa Drive, trading since 1997. DefenTec sits east of them at 2512 W Pecan Street Suite 270 in Pflugerville, 14.94 miles out.
Central and east Austin, the routed band
The four offices that had to be measured rather than estimated, 19.21 to 23.30 driving miles. 7tech works from 7000 N MoPac Expressway, TechProComp from 7600 Chevy Chase Drive, CyberStreams from 500 E St Johns Avenue and Centre Technologies from 2204 Forbes Drive. All four are inside the 25-mile limit and all four are a genuinely different on-site proposition from Cedar Park, which is the point of measuring rather than assuming.
