Scott Lavergne is the founder and CEO of Enterprise Data Concepts (EDC). He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Computer Science in 1999 and cofounded his first computer consulting firm, Datastream Inc., upon graduation.
In 2001 he left Datastream and founded EDC, and his leadership has helped grow the company from a one-man shop into the firm it is today.
Lavergne has been active in the Rotary Club of Lafayette since 2003 and in the Boy Scouts of America since 2005, serving in roles including Scoutmaster and Cubmaster. The Evangeline Area Council awarded him the District Award of Merit in 2010. He is married with two sons and is an avid backpacker and outdoors enthusiast.
