Robert Raskin started the business in November 1989 as Robert H. Raskin Consulting. He had worked as a computer technician and telecommunications specialist at Mega Electronic Data Systems in Tulsa, where he learned the new technologies of a rapidly developing industry.
His guiding philosophy was to give small clients the same level of competence and service larger companies could afford. In May 1999 the firm was renamed Combined Technology to reflect its growth and broader scope of services across Northeastern Oklahoma.
