Noam Birnbaum is the founder and CEO of Ignition IT, with more than three decades spent solving the technology challenges of over a thousand organizations. Originally from New York City, he studied at Oberlin College before earning two master's degrees in literature and the arts.
He rose through the IT teams of Fortune 500 firms, major educational institutions, and small businesses before founding the boutique Apple IT consultancy MacCentric Solutions at the age of 23. After broadening its model to support the full range of startup and SMB IT, he rebranded the firm to Ignition, one of the oldest Apple-specialist firms in the world.
Over Ignition's history and through collaborations with Bay Area and Silicon Valley leaders, Birnbaum has become a sought-after advisor on scaling IT capacity. He is a member of the board of directors of Oakland's Temple Beth Abraham and a local chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization, and lives in Oakland with his wife and children.
