Nicholas Harney is the founder of Nickologic LLC, a managed IT services firm serving small and medium businesses in and around Orange County, California. He has worked in technology since his school years, when he replaced hard drives with SSDs and provisioned systems for the Technology Department at Dwyer Middle School in Huntington Beach.
During high school he managed Amazon Web Services cloud virtual machines for a startup, migrated a company PBX phone system supporting more than 25 phone lines, and ran an online e-commerce platform. While attending university he worked as a Systems Engineer, providing remote diagnostic support, enabling two-factor authentication for clients, performing Office 365 migrations, and virtualizing physical servers.
In early 2022 Nicholas began managing the network infrastructure, ISP network endpoints, cybersecurity systems, and billing for a company providing internet connectivity to rural Catalina Island. He founded Nickologic to provide IT support and solutions to local businesses, drawing on experience across Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, Linux, firewalls, and network security systems.
