Michael 'Mike' Ruter is CEO of Outsource Solutions Group (OSG), a provider of managed IT and cybersecurity that serves the Naperville and Chicago area of Illinois. He came on board in 2009 and introduced a finance-first way of running IT management.
Earlier in his career Ruter was Managing Director at Spherion, and he earned a B.S. in Finance at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His areas of focus include MSP leadership and business strategy, finance-first IT management, team accountability and execution systems, and managed IT services delivery. He guided OSG to a spot on the CRN MSP 500.
