Mike Rosenberg's education and employment background is in biological research. He began using Macs daily while working in a lab at UC San Diego in 1988, and within a week had become the unofficial, unpaid Macintosh instructor, troubleshooter, and consultant.
He continued in that capacity during his time at UCSD and at two biotech startups until the middle of 1994, when he decided to leave the lab behind and become a full-time Mac consultant. A relationship brought him to Jacksonville, FL, in late 1998, where he has been based ever since.
