He founded the company as IT Support Guys in 2006 in Los Angeles after years of watching small and mid-market businesses get stuck with hourly, reactive IT vendors. He built it around flat-rate, proactive, prevention-first service.
What began as a one-person operation grew into a managed services company serving clients in regulated industries including legal, healthcare, financial services, and professional services. The company deployed its first RMM in 2010 to shift from reactive support to real-time monitoring, and by 2019 had eliminated its on-premises server dependencies, migrating itself and its clients to Microsoft 365 as an operating platform. That internal transformation became the Blueprint, a standardized, integrated technology stack every client runs on. In 2024 the company rebranded to Next Perimeter to reflect its identity-first security focus.
Luy operates as both vCIO and vCISO for the business and its clients, bridging enterprise security frameworks with the operational realities of small and mid-market organizations.
