She first encountered a computer as a 10th grader in high school and fell in love with computer programming, which led her into software development. Over her career she worked for Wall Street brokerage houses and a pioneering telecommunications firm that helped realize SMS messaging.
Wanting more control over her time as she balanced family and caring for seniors, she pursued franchising and bought into CMIT Solutions in 2005, drawn to a model that let her leverage her experience while reducing the risk of a startup in the cybersecurity market. Through her two Connecticut locations she serves small and mid-sized businesses, with a team of nine providing local service backed by the larger CMIT network.
