Leo is a US Coast Guard veteran with 15 years of experience in law enforcement. He holds a BA from the University of California, San Diego and a National Security Graduate Certificate from the University of New Haven in Connecticut, is a Category 1 Nevada Peace Officer, a former scuba diving instructor, and a volunteer with Red Rock Search & Rescue.
