As Co-Founder of Sagiss, LLC in Dallas, TX, Karl Springer leads a team focused on Managed IT services, IT outsourcing, and Business IT strategy.
Karl Springer is a co-founder of Sagiss. A Texas native who grew up in Fort Worth and Richardson, he studied finance at Texas A&M and then joined the accounting practice Middleton, Burns & Davis, PC (MBD), where he and his team provided accounting service and financial leadership.
At MBD, Karl drove the firm to build an internal information network to run more efficiently. Clients soon asked the firm to install similar networks in their own offices, and within a few years MBD became one of the first in the country to offer outsourced network administration, now known as managed services. That work became the foundation of Sagiss.
More than 25 years later, Karl remains heavily involved in daily operations at Sagiss, providing leadership and strategic direction. At the industry level he serves on various boards and audit committees and is an Advisory Board Member of the MSPAlliance, an industry association and certification body for cloud computing and managed service professionals. Outside of work he is an avid golfer and has coached women's softball in his local community.
