Karl Kamin founded Kamin Associates in 1995 and has served as its president and CEO for the past 30 years, building a team of IT security professionals focused on delivering Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) services to organizations across a range of industries.
He brings more than three decades of experience in the IT sector. He holds extensive credentials from his service with the U.S. Government, including a 12-year tenure with the USAF's 92nd Information Warfare Aggressor Squadron, where he led teams in simulating real-world cyber threats to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in military systems.
Karl also instructs ISC2 courses, including CISSP, CCSP, and CSSLP, and keeps the firm aligned with current data risk mitigation practices, security technologies, and CISSP standards. Outside work, he is an avid cyclist who explores San Antonio's routes and spends time with his grandchildren.
