Jordan Hetrick is the Founder and CEO of PK Tech, a Phoenix-based independent IT company. He started as the internal IT Manager at the CPA firm Price Kong in 2005, where he implemented technologies that helped the firm go paperless and work remotely earlier than most CPA firms.
In 2009 he founded PK Tech alongside the partners of Price Kong (the PK in PK Tech comes from Price Kong). Between 2009 and 2016 he was mentored by his CPA partners on running a business, understanding financials, and serving clients. In late 2016 he bought out his partners to become 100% owner.
He earned a Bachelor of Computer Science with Honors and obtained IT certifications including A+, Network+, and Security+, and became a Microsoft Certified System Engineer. Earlier in his career he worked on projects for organizations such as BankOne, HP, Cox, local colleges, and Phoenix's largest school district.
Under his leadership, PK Tech focuses on CPA firms, financial services, and specialized healthcare businesses with complex compliance needs, and the company completes an annual SOC 2 Type II audit by an independent CPA firm.
