Joel Thain is the founder and CEO of IntegriCom, the managed IT services company he founded in January 2000 to serve businesses throughout metro Atlanta and the southeast. He describes himself as a problem-solver who builds solutions and strengthens businesses through technology and better business processes.
Joel works across both managed and co-managed IT services, including planning, implementing, and maintaining complex network and telecom solutions, with cybersecurity and advanced networking as a special focus. He directs teams of engineers and technicians and serves as a virtual CIO for small and mid-sized businesses.
Before IntegriCom, Joel honed his skills for about two decades, largely with Oglethorpe Power Corporation, one of Georgia's largest privately owned companies and the largest power supplier to the state's Electric Membership Cooperatives. He founded IntegriCom as a hobby before it grew enough to prompt his departure from the corporate world.
Joel is an active member of a nationwide IT executives peer group and has appeared on the Stewarding Family Wealth and Let's Talk Business 2.0 podcasts. He has been married for over thirty years and has three children, two of whom work in the business.
