Joel Mollison is the founder and president of Northeast IT Systems, Inc., which he started in 2003 after a frustrating computer repair experience. He had originally planned to become a mechanical engineer, but a costly repair and weeks without his high-end PC led him to build a better solution and lay the foundation for the company.
In 2007 Joel partnered with Brian Sullivan, whom he met at a bowling league; Sullivan joined as Vice President and co-owner, and together they grew the company across the Northeast. In 2014 Gary Rivers came on board, later becoming Director of Operations and co-owner and helping lead a pivot from residential services to business-to-business solutions.
Under Joel's leadership Northeast IT Systems expanded beyond its regional roots to serve clients nationwide with managed IT services, drawing on more than 20 years of experience supporting small and medium businesses.
