Jay Mellon is CEO and co-founder of AtNetPlus. Born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota, he has been in the technology industry for nearly 30 years.
He started his career at IBM Global Services out of their Minneapolis office, traveling to large client accounts across the country. IBM sent him to the Akron area to work on the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company account, and he moved to Northeast Ohio permanently in 1997.
After gaining experience in large corporate environments, Mellon co-founded AtNetPlus with Jim Laber in 1998. Before IBM and AtNetPlus, he worked as a carpenter and attended North Dakota State University, studying Construction Management.
He lives in Solon, Ohio with his wife Jill and their four children, and is a self-described fan of the latest technology gadgets.
