Ian Rae is the founder and CEO of CloudOps, a Montreal-based cloud consulting, managed services, and software company focused on open source, cloud native platforms, networking, and DevOps. The company grew from an operations managed services shop, in business since 2005, into a provider of cloud computing, cloud networking, and DevOps solutions.
In January 2023, when Aptum acquired CloudOps, Rae was set to join Aptum's Executive Leadership Team as President and CEO of CloudOps and CloudMC. He noted that over the prior two years the two companies had collaborated to offer Managed DevOps services, helping customers accelerate their application platform engineering and operational excellence in the cloud.
