Francisco Martinez serves as Founder at SimpleFly Tech, a managed IT and cybersecurity provider in Denver, CO, leading its work across Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, and Backup & Disaster Recovery.
Francisco Martinez founded SimpleFly Tech in 2015, driven by his passion for technology and business infrastructure. His vision was to support small to mid-sized businesses with technology right-sized for their needs, and he and his team focus on keeping IT simple and free of jargon so it becomes an enabler rather than a distraction.
Francisco's love for technology began in childhood. After moving from Mexico to Denver at a young age, he grew up in the West Denver projects, where his interest in art and technology helped him navigate early challenges. By age 12 he was working at Arts-Street as a graphic design artist.
He became the first in his family to graduate from college. He went on to teach game development at universities including Denver University, UCLA, Princeton, and Colorado State University, then taught at a Denver charter school, an experience that helped him understand the role of technology in schools and nonprofits and led him to found SimpleFly Tech.
Outside work, Francisco is married, has two Boston Terriers, and enjoys the outdoors, mountain biking, and boxing. He has served on the board for Re:Vision and as a mentor at Sheridan High School. The company notes it has since been acquired by HostiFi.
