Erin O'Meara is the founder of Salmon Bay Technology, an IT consulting company headquartered in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle with a presence around the Puget Sound. An Alaska native who grew up in the Pacific Northwest, he established the company in 2009 with a focus on strong organizational culture, strategic and critical thinking, and resilient business processes.
He oversees all aspects of the company's operations and is committed to attracting top professionals in the industry. The work grew out of an earlier side project: in the early 2000s, before the IT business, Erin began offering internet services to his Ballard marina neighbors, recognizing a need for reliable, affordable connectivity.
As demand grew, that effort became Salmon Bay Wireless, with Erin building the infrastructure, assembling a team, and refining services into what is now a trusted wireless internet service provider in the Ballard community and beyond. Outside of work he enjoys boating and spending time with his family.
