Eric Schueler serves as President at HRCT, a managed IT and cybersecurity provider in Portsmouth, VA (Hampton Roads), leading its work across Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, and VoIP & Phone Systems.
Eric Schueler is President of HRCT (Hampton Roads Communication Technologies), where he leads computer, IT support, repair, and managed services for businesses across Virginia, the region, and the United States. He joined the HRCT executive team in 2010 to grow the IT division and integrate clients' IT systems with their business telephone systems, and he has worked in IT and consulting for small and medium business for more than 17 years.
He grew up in rural Minnesota and came to Virginia through the Navy, where he worked on the electronics of F-14 fighter jets. While serving, he completed a degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering and took a part-time job at a small computer company building and installing computers for small businesses.
After an honorable discharge from the Navy, Eric became a full-time IT and computer technician, working his way up to Senior Service Manager and accumulating a range of certifications. After 13 years with a small company he sought a bigger challenge and brought his expertise to HRCT. His specialties include network engineering, cybersecurity, CMMC compliance, and cloud migrations, and outside of work he restores old cars.
