Dan Hernandez serves as Founder at PCS Technology, a managed IT and cybersecurity provider in San Francisco, CA, leading its work across Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity & Threat Protection, and Cloud Services & Migration.
Dan Hernandez founded Professional Computer Support, now PCS Technology, in 1989, with the goal of becoming the Bay Area's preeminent IT support partner for medium-sized businesses.
Earlier, in 1985, while working at Bain & Company, he created the first local area network in San Francisco for 200+ businesses and later migrated it to Novell. He built PCS into a company that thrived through the dot-com boom by providing outsourced technology support, and in the early 2000s expanded its work to help local nonprofits modernize their business systems.
