Bret Knighton is President of Complete Technology Services, his latest venture as an entrepreneur who has bought, sold, or started five different businesses.
His earlier ventures included Knighton Business Solutions, an office equipment dealership selling and servicing Canon, Ricoh, and Samsung products, which he and his brother sold to All Copy Products of Denver after rapid growth between 2010 and 2014. In the fall of 2014 he co-founded Complete Legal Services, a Kansas City litigation support company offering document scanning, eDiscovery, and hosting; he later sold his shares to focus on Complete Technology. Since 2006 he held roles with Office Business Solutions, an equipment finance company, before purchasing it in January 2016.
He earned a Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University, focusing on Economics and Mass Communication. Born in the Kansas City area, he still lives there with his wife Erin and their three children and enjoys coaching youth sports, Chiefs games, and golf.
