It grew under Meara through acquisitions of several MSPs, including Homefield IT, blending cyber insurance with MDR and managed security. The unit is sometimes referred to as Acrisure Cyber Security and Technology.
His focus at the division spans managed cybersecurity through MDR, cyber insurance, day-to-day managed IT, and M&A-driven division building. Meara came to Acrisure out of Abry Partners, the private-equity firm where he now advises as a Senior Advisor, and brings a track record as a media and cyber entrepreneur.
